Val Bormida. Everything is ready for the passage of the Giro d’Italia in Val Bormida: the pink caravan will pass through the Acqui Terme – Andora stage on Tuesday 7 May and many are eagerly awaiting this event which will touch a large part of the province. In Val Bormida I not only support but also work to make the area more welcoming and enhance it with its resources.
In fact, some truly original installations have emerged which testify to the love and passion of the people of Val Bormio in “making themselves beautiful” for the occasion. It’s Bormida’s turn, where, in the locality of Chiesa, a giant chestnut was “born”, made with twigs tied together. Two symbols of the small town, the fruit of the forest par excellence and the wood, with whose combination one of the most difficult climbs for athletes in transit was embellished.
In Calizzano, in addition to the pink love bench, the tractor drivers created a huge bicycle with round bales of hay, all festively decorated. Also in this case, agriculture reigns supreme, testifying to both the economic and social value of the sector in an area with mountainous characteristics.
