At the point of 25 to 12 in the third set and a completely dominated and storyless match against Magione Perugia, the celebration exploded on the PalaGreco parquet. Quoting Jovanotti we can say that…yes, the party is here. What the team of coach Stefanini, the mister, and president Vanessa Greco did was simply fantastic, sealing another chapter of a sporting fairytale. Having approached the B2 championship as a freshman, Rolla & C. gradually dominated the scene. After each match and as the weeks and matches went by, as the first round and then the second round progressed, the Biancoazzurra team became convinced that it could be done. And then it was done with sagacity, commitment, personality and strength. All supported by a genuine enthusiasm for a truly important goal as highlighted by the leader of this magnificent team. There is very little to say about the feverish match on Saturday night, but only for the joy that was released at the end of it. Just remember the partial scores (25-17; 25-13; 25-12) to understand that it was a walk in the park. As Stefanini said, now head down and a lot of concentration to try to complete the masterpiece. Versilia expected from the playoffs for promotion to B1 in a double match against the winner of group H which is still in the balance between Terracina and Ondamedical Roma. The blue and white will have the advantage of playing the return match and the eventual golden set at home. B1 is up for grabs. Better not to think about it for now.
