New developments regarding the new Neapolitan coach: Di Marzio takes stock of the situation on Conte, Pioli, Italiano and Gasperini.
De Laurentiis is looking around and the applications for the role of Napoli coach are being analyzed in more and more detail. The current season must now be left behind: the Neapolitan management is focused on choosing the new coach.
Among the eligible names there are those of Antonio Contenow put aside by Milan who seem to be oriented towards Lopetegui’s profile, of Stefano Pioli leaving the Rossoneri club and much appreciated by De Laurentiis, of Vincenzo Italiano who will leave Fiorentina at the end of the season but who seems to be in the orbit of Bologna and Gian Piero Gasperini who is, however, under contract with Atalanta.

Italian can regain positions, the role of Manna
The president of Napoli will also have to meet in a few days Giovanni Manna to discuss the ideal profile as the next coach of the Neapolitan club. The opinion of the new Italian sporting director could be seriously decisive. Antonio Conte and Stefano Pioli they would have already given availability to Napoli. The former Spezia player, now certain to leave Fiorentina at the end of the season, is looking around: Bologna, above all, would be willing to hire him as the next coach if Thiago Motta were to leave the position. The former Inter footballer could move to Juventus. According to Di Marzio, a possible meeting with Manna could once again shuffle the cards on the table and make Italiano regain his position on De Laurentiis’s notebook.
