Elena Bissolati tricolor in tandem with Chiara Colombo

MONTESILVANO – Un new Italian success for Elena Bissolati. The athlete of San Giovanni in Croce he won the Italian paracycling tandem title together with Chiara Colombo. For the two cyclists, who have been a regular couple for a year and already protagonists at an international level on the track, came the satisfaction of victory at the Italian road championships which took place in Montesilvano.
The two Team Equa athletes won the title in the inline road test, confirming the excellent condition that led them to win track gold at the World Championships in Brazil less than a month ago. The cyclists also achieved the second time in the Italian time trial race.
The trials were an excellent test for Colombo-Bissolati who are part of the national team led by Pierpaolo Addesi. The Italian coach has obtained good indications in view of the next stage of the Road World Cup, scheduled for the first weekend of May in Ostende in Belgium, to which the Colombo-Bissolati tandem has already received a call-up. A commitment that will then look towards the summer and the Paralympic Games in Paris, an objective the athlete from San Giovanni in Croce is aiming for.
