Vini Monzon-Savini Due-Omz Team, Lorenzo Cataldo and Filippo Tagliani arrive

Two new releases CycleMarket for the Monzon-Savini Due-Omz Team wines. The Romanian-licensed Continental team, but decidedly Italian in origin, welcomed two blue riders into its ranks, Lorenzo Cataldo And Filippo Tagliani. Both had started 2024 involved in the project of Albiono Pro Cycling, a team flying the flag of the British Virgin Islands which should have made its debut in the world of international cycling starting from the Continental category. The aforementioned project, however, did not take off and the two riders mentioned above decided to join the team directed by Stefano Giuliani to face the current year, starting from The Giro d’Abruzzo 2024 (9-12 April), which will be the team’s next match.

Tagliani, 28 years old, comes from three years spent in Gianni Savio’s teams, with the various names they have had over the years. “I have found a familiar environment and I can’t wait to start to repay the trust that Stefano Giuliani has placed in me”, the words of the runner from Brescia

Cataldo, 24 years old, raced in the Gragnano Sporting Club, an amateur team, in 2023 and will therefore take a step forward as regards the category. “We got to know each other quickly with the other guys on the team who had recently started training camp. I thank Marcello Massini, who contacted Stefano Giuliani, and to whom I am grateful for giving me the opportunity to test myself in a new team”, the Tuscan’s comment.
