CARRARA. An important youth women’s volleyball event that will involve the entire provincial territory thanks to a great synergy between the most important clubs in the Apuan volleyball district. Pallavolo San Marco, in collaboration with the Robur Massa Volleyball School and the Volley Team Lunigiana, has organized for today and tomorrow, the “Manrico Giananti Memorial”, in memory of an iconic figure of provincial volleyball, a meritorious referee and great volleyball enthusiast who passed away in 2022. The sporting event, completely free of charge with no expense for the participating clubs, will take place in three different playing venues: the Leopardi gym and the Zaccagna-Galilei in via Campo d’Appio as well as the Buttini sports hall in Villafranca Lunigiana . The teams on the field, made up of young volleyball players from years between 2010 and 2013, will be: Scuola Pallavolo Robur Massa, Pallavolo Massa Carrara, Volley Team Lunigiana, Carrarese Volley and Pallavolo San Marco with two teams (red and blue).
