In fact, citizens are informed that the use of pyrotechnic material is prohibited by Art. 30-bis of the Urban Police Regulation, which establishes that in order to safeguard public safety, urban safety and fire risksthe quiet of people and the discomfort of domestic and wild animals, The use of explosive and pyrotechnic materials in the presence of people and animals is prohibited, as well as at a distance of less than 500 meters from places of hospitalization, clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, schools, condominium areas and homes in residential areas, public and private places open to the public, sites of community interest, naturalistic areas and protected oases, green and public space structures intended for pets. Exceptions are made for particular events which must be specifically authorised. It is also forbidden to bring pets, especially dogs and cats, into places where authorized fireworks displays are performed at any time.

Penalties are foreseen for violators, who risk a fine between 25 and 500 euros.

Also on the occasion of the New Year’s Eve, the ordinance has been signed in recent days which establishes the following bans: Ban on glass bottles and cans. Starting from 8pm on December 31st 2025 until 6am on 1 January 2026 in Piazza Bra, Via Leoncino, Piazzetta Scalette Rubiani and Piazzetta Municipio, Via Roma, Via degli Alpini, Piazzetta Melvin Jones, Piazzetta Mura Gallieno and Via Dietro Anfiteatro, the possession ofdrinks of any type, contained in glass bottles or cans. The sale of drinks to take away in containers made of similar material is also prohibited, as is the serving of drinks of any type in the stalls of the premises, except in plastic or paper cups.

Ban on the use of stinging spray. In the entire area of ​​Piazza Bra and Via degli Alpini intended for the public who will attend the New Year’s Eve party, stinging spray cans cannot be brought.
Behaviors that do not comply with the Ordinance will result in fines between 25 and 500 euros.

But those who cannot be present in Piazza Bra will still be able to follow the great Veronese musical event on the radio, on TV and also online. From 11pm “Big & Bang” will be live on radio and television on Rtl 102.5 (digital terrestrial channel 36, Sky 736), on Radio Zeta (digital terrestrial channel 266, Sky 735), on social platforms and in streaming on Rtl 102.5 Play, but above all also on Telearena which will broadcast the event live from Piazza Bra from 9.30pm until 1am, and the live broadcast will also be included on the larena.it website.
