Celano The other evening in the splendid setting of the church of the Madonna del Carmine was held the highly acclaimed closing concert within the scope of eleventh edition of the Giuseppe Corsi award, one of the best Italian composers in the Baroque age. The “Giuseppe Corsi City of Celano 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award” it was instead attributed to Maestro Tullio Vicarettito whom the great merits of having made the company grow must be acknowledged “Band city of Celano”making not only adults, but also children passionate about it Junior Band and the Young Band, which today represent splendid realities, both musical and above all social. The “Music together” Award went to the trumpeter Vittorio Panaro, which represents a splendid confirmation of the power that music has to break down all forms of barriers.
