It will end in court the dispute between Fedez and Marcell Jacobs. The Brescia Prosecutor’s Office has in fact filed the complaint the notice of conclusion of the investigations on the matter, and the request for indictment could arrive shortly. The rapper’s lawsuit risks putting the Olympic gold medalist on trial for aggravated defamation.
Fedez takes Jacobs to court: what happened
It all dates back to 2021the year of his triumph at the Olympics, when Jacobs had decided to entrust the management of his image to Dome srla company managed by mother of Fedez. Relations between the two sides deteriorated rapidly, reaching the point of termination of the contract and starting one civil case. What made the case explode, however, were the Jacobs’ words in an interview with Press in 2023, with the harsh accusation to the company for never having looked after its interests: “I entrusted myself to the company of Fedez. I expected that being close to him would give visibility but they never developed a project there. I expected them to be ready for my results, however when I won in Tokyo they wrote to me 24 hours later. They were at the seaside and he didn’t give a damn“. Harsh words that immediately triggered the lawsuit aggravated defamation by the rapper.
