For a few years now, together with the wait for the long-awaited holidays, the concerts, the open-air aperitifs (and the limited edition magnums), there is also the wait for the duets-catchphrases summers that will inevitably accompany our summer. Because until a few years ago it wasn’t really summer if the catchphrase of Enrique Iglesias or Fred De Palma (almost always paired with Ana Mena) among the first from the Bel Paese to import the tradition, it now seems to be an obligatory step for every singer in the rankings to release a collaboration or feauturing with a summery and pounding flavour. Possibly man-woman, possibly enriched with spicy and prurient allusions, to ensure success among the younger audience. It is no coincidence that at the moment the most successful and most downloaded duet is Sex and Samba Of Gaia And Tony Effea song that summarizes everything said so far in a pounding and captivating reef.

- SEX AND SAMBA – GAIA AND TONY EFFE
True hit of the summer, already certified gold and at number 1 among the favorite songs in Italy on Spotify (but also on Apple Music and Amazon Music as well as among the 200 most listened to songs in the world). The video of Sex and Samba, filmed in a car junkyard transformed into a street stage, has reached over 7.5 million views on YouTube. They write about the hit: “A simple song that entertains”; “It works because it is the meeting between two different worlds: on the one hand trap and urban, on the other Brazilian melody and atmospheres”. How do you explain it Tony Effe the incredible success of the song? Thus: “I think the public likes this song a lot, apart from because Gaia is in it, who is very good and beautiful. A duet with bars and autotune, in pure nineties style, the one between Fedez and Emis in reality the song attracted immediate attention for its obviousness, even before its melody reference to Chiara Ferragni in the text, at a time when the separation of Ferragn-Ex was the topic of the day (“It’s an uphill life, an infinite story/And then it’s over, my fingers hurt/Why hurt ourselves, it’s a faith wedding/With the exit hole/For every friend of yours thirsty for fame You were spring water/Fairy hands, I touched you, you withered…” And again: “You were like a jackpot in the slots/And after me you knocked out/You say I’m a bastard/But for you I don’t change”). - SHORT STORIES – ANNALISA AND TANANAI
Two of the most beautiful voices of our pop music, Annalisa And Tananai, come together for a hit with a retro flavour, in perfect style of Di Martino-Colapesce, who knows a lot about catchphrases. Among the (obviously) most listened to summer songs so far. “All short stories, All short stories. Everyone is at the seaside and we are not. We have too much going on. You and me, four walls”, the text almost seems to refer to The sky in a room it’s at The cat by Gino Paoli: two lovers who, instead of escaping to the sea, find pleasure within four walls, like two cats. - HALF BROKEN – ALESSANDRA AMOROSO AND BIG MAMA
The only all-female duet. Dance song written by Zef, Tropico and Big Mama herself centered on the female point of view on the end of a light relationship, ephemeral like summer passion. Alessandra Amoroso said that the idea of collaborating with Big Mama was born after the charity event Una, Nella, Centomila at the Verona Arena in May 2024. A perfect summer hit characterized by friendship and musical complicity between the two singers - DOLCE VITA – RENGA AND NEK
The two now inseparable friends, after the winter tour, try the Sanremo song again with the song released just before the summer Dolce Vita. The protagonist reflects on the moments spent together and on the mistakes, with the absolute certainty of being in love with the other person despite the difficulties.” Right candidate among the summer hits of 2024. - BAD NIGHT – FRED DE PALMA AND GUÈ
