A love for the radio that has never ended since it began in 1975. “I was born in that year,” he jokes Gilberto Gatteithat after 27 years together with Radio San Marino greets the broadcaster. An iron memory for the songs, for the anecdotes about the singers and also for his listeners: “I even remember the favorite song of some – says the DJ -. A part of the public has been following me for a few decades now”. At the end of the month, the June 30ththe official farewell.
The time has therefore come to look back and retrace an adventure that began in 1997: “An emotion is forever – comments Gattei, quoting Ramazzotti -. In these 27 years there have been moments of joy and tension due to the desire to always bring new projects. In the background always gratitude and love for the listeners.”
“Among the most exciting moments – recalls the DJ – the New Year’s Eve in Piazza Sant’Agata. For us it was a test, we expected few people and instead there was a full house. And then all the live broadcasts from the historic centre, interviewing people from all over Europe and all over the world”. “To those who ask me if I’m retiring – concludes Gattei -, the answer is no. My love for radio is endless and I remain faithful to my listeners, so new projects are on the way for me.”
