Pier Gonnellaguitarist of NECODEATH, MASTERCASTLE, VANEXA and others, entered the Guinness World Record for having released the greatest number of albums in digital format.

As reported by the artist’s Facebook page, Gonella has released over 300 ‘Backing Tracks’ albums for musicians, including 122 in 2023 alone with which he broke the previous record.
The record is visible on the website Guinness World Records at this link (until it is surpassed) and the 122 albums on the major digital portals such as Spotify.

The comment by Pier Gonella about:

“I thank you publicly Daniele Pascali (Black Tears/Diamonds Prod rec), Pippo ‘Sbranf’ Marino (Metal.it/Rock Hard Italy) e Weight (Necrodeath) who gave me their testimony to attach to the massive documentation. It’s not the Guinness World Record to decide who is the most expert or ‘best’ musician in the world, but it constitutes a globally recognized institution that brings together all those who decide to distinguish themselves by venturing into something great. It was an exhausting but also fun challenge, which will give a lot of credibility to my musical production work that I have been carrying out for years with great passion. I also wanted to give a message to today’s musicians: the time it took me to produce 122 albums in a year, in my opinion, is the same time that many musicians spend on social media counting ‘likes’, posting photographs instead of music, and acting like keyboard… We are looking for more ambitious results and by exploiting today’s technologies we can achieve much more important records…”
