A new horror film from A24 is coming, and the protagonist is the surprising English actor. Here is the trailer, plot and poster for Heretic.
This phase of ‘s career is truly intriguing Hugh Grant, someone who was the icon of a certain type of romantic comedy in vogue between the nineties and the early 2000s who then, for about ten years now, has been showing truly unprecedented opposite and even dark sides of his acting self . Grant has reeled in films like Paddington 2 And Wonka with Paul King, and Operation UNCLE, The Gentlemen And Operation Fortune with Guy Ritchienot to mention the role of husband of Benoit Blanc covered in Glass Onion – Knives Out.
In many of these films, Grant was a villain, but never as bad as the one in the new horror by A24 which sees him as the protagonist.
The film is titled Hereticand was written and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woodsthe pair of screenwriters from whom the first one was born A Quiet Placeas well as directors of films such as Haunt And 65.
Scheduled in American theaters on November 15th, Heretic tells the story of two Mormon girls (played by Sophie Thatcher Of Yellowjackets and from Chloe East) who go door-to-door proselytizing, and who one day knock on the wrong door: that of the diabolical Mr. Reed played by Grant, who will start a sadistic and deadly game of cat and mouse with them.
