Inside Out 2 grossed 13 million dollars in evening and night-time previews in America, marking the best figure of the year and surpassing Dune – Part 2 which had stopped at 12 million. Analysts significantly raise the final estimates for the film’s first weekend, from 135 to 170 million globally, given that in America alone the film should be able to reach and exceed 100 million. The record at Pixar remains 18 million in previews The Incredibles 2 (watch the video review), which I will then be able to make for an initial weekend worth 182 million dollars.
Good news for Pixar also from international markets, where Inside Out 2 has already grossed 22.3 million, scoring excellent numbers in Mexico, with over 5 million dollars and Argentina, where the film was the second best animated grossing ever, behind Toy Story 4 (watch the video review).
