Dragon Ball Z, 3 underrated villains from the films

There are several villains in Dragon Ball who have ended up forgotten, but some of the most underrated of all come from the films and we are here to remember them with affection and emotional transport.

First of all, it must be mentioned Janemba, the main antagonist of “Dragon Ball Z – The evil warrior of the underworld”. Despite being part of that group of villains who would have deserved a more in-depth story in Dragon Ball, he still managed to carve out space for himself among the most significant and impactful threats of the work.

Both the design of the first and second forms are incredibly recognizable and the same goes for his too cross-dimensional punches and for his splendid sword. Although there is no shortage of Janemba fans, we are still convinced that she deserved more attention from fans.

Another character not to forget is certainly the Dr. Wheelo, which we were able to appreciate in “Dragon Ball Z – The strongest in the world”. This film has a great science fiction feel and focuses on Wheelo and his search for a suitable body to house his brain, placed in a mechanical body by Dr. Kochin, who saved his life after his original body was destroyed in an avalanche.

The Wheelo’s robotic design is definitely successful and it’s very satisfying to see Goku face such an unusual and terrifying opponent.

Finally, we want to close with a villain who wasn’t even central in the film in which he appeared, but who still left a mark in his own way: Medamatcha.

Unlike Slug, perhaps canonized in recent times by Orange Piccolo in Dragon Ball Super, this secondary fighter from the film “Dragon Ball Z – Challenge of the Invincible Warriors”, stood out for the cruelty with which he massacres Gohan and his almost vampiric attacks which involve using small clones or your own teeth to suck energy from the target.

Furthermore, the horror mood who can generate this character is simply priceless.
