“I think we desperately need films that bring the theater experience back into the conversation, that fully embrace the power of the theater, and I’m not just talking about Dune 2. We need a lot of films: a film like Civil War, for example, I think it’s an excellent example of a film that has been able to make absolute use of the power of the big screen. I was very lucky that Dune Part 2 achieved success with audiences, but I wish it happened more often and with many more filmshonestly.
