Milly Carlucci’s daughter married the manager and son of Prince Alessandro Borghese with a romantic ceremony at the Villa Medicea di Montevettolini, in Tuscany. After sharing some shots of the big day on social media, the new bride was overwhelmed by criticism for the age difference with husbandmore than 20 years older than her. “Criticism makes me laugh, it’s something I’ve never understood“he explained to Vanity Fair.

After sharing some wedding photos, Angelia Donati was criticized on Instagram because of the age of her groom, Prince Fabio Borghese. “But did you really marry this old man?“, “He seems like an old man compared to her”are just some of the comments that appeared under the post of Milly Carlucci’s daughter.
Interviewed by Vanity Fair, The new bride wanted to break the silence on this aspect, explaining that the age difference has never been a problem: “Criticism makes me laugh. It’s true that there’s a significant age difference between us, but it’s equally true that with Fabio we arrived at the choice to get married with great serenity”. Donati can’t understand why people waste time writing nasty things under photos that don’t affect her in any way:

People bothering to write mean things under someone else’s wedding photos is honestly something I’ve never understood. I’m going my own way, and I think the person who writes them has a problem. Not to mention that 90% of these things those same people don’t have the courage to say to your face.
The Wedding of Angelica Donati and Fabio Genovese
The couple got married on January 29th at the Villa Medicea in Montevettolini, Tuscany, in the presence of friends and relatives. “On the wedding day I had neither anxiety nor fear: I was extremely convinced of what I was going to do, and it was beautiful”, Angelica Donati said. Many VIP guests were present: in addition to the mother of the bride Milly Carlucci, there were also Simona Ventura and Giovanni Terzi (soon to be married), Pierferdinando Casini, Matteo Marzotto, Lucrezia Lante della Rovere and the oilman Ugo Brachetti Peretti. For the celebrations they chose something sober: “In the evening we chose not to have any performances, dancers, live shows and so on: we were only accompanied by beautiful music because that’s what we wanted.”
