Through their social channels James Gunn showed off a particular gift he received while making his Superman by Warner/DC.
The gift in question is nothing more than a reprint of Action Comics number 1 signed by the American cartoonist Jerry Siegel and donated by the artist’s two nephews:
A gift from Jerry Siegel’s nephews, Michael and James Larson – a reprint of the first issue of Action Comics signed by Jerry. It was great to have Mike and Jim around to keep Jerry’s spirit alive in the birth of the DCU! Here we were on script reading day with the whole cast!
In Superman David Corenswet will be Clark Kent and Rachel Brosnahan will be Lois Lanejoined by Isabela Merced, Edi Gathegi and Nathan Fillion, chosen to play respectively Hawkgirl, Mister Terrific it’s a green LanternAnthony Carrigan will be Metamorpho and María Gabriela de Faría will play the role of Angela Spica / Engineer. Nicholas Hoult, finally, will be Lex Luthor.
