All the villages and houses of Santa Claus in Milan and Lombardy for 2022

For Christmas 2022 a Milan and throughout the Lombardy I am set up villages where you can find Santa Claus. This could be a way to spend time with the family and allow the little ones to get to know Santa Claus, post their letters and play with the Elves. Among the most famous villages and houses, we certainly find the Villaggio delle Meraviglie in Milan, the Tram Express and the Casa dei Balocchi Como. Here is a list of all the villages and houses to visit.

Christmas Village Milan

From 19 November to 8 January 2023 it is possible to visit the Wonderland which is located in the Indro Montanelli park, in the Porta Venezia area in Milan. Inside you can skate on the rink which is open every day from 10 to 21 and will also be available on 24, 25 and 31 December. On Christmas Eve it will be open from 10.30 to 18, on Christmas it will be open from 15 to 20 and on 31 December it will be open from 10.30 to 18.30.

The Santa Claus House will be open on weekdays from 15 to 18.30, Saturday and Sunday, on public holidays and from 23 December to 8 January it will be open from 10.30 to 12.30 and from 14.30 to 18.30. Then there will be some mini shows and shows that will be staged on weekdays from 15 to 18.30, Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and from 23 December to 8 January they will be open from 10.30 to 12.30 and from 14.30 to 18.30. Every hour there will be baby dances, quizzes and mini shows that last 15 minutes. At 11 there will be “Le Favole I Racconti”.

There will also be a puppet show, “Il Circo Degli Elfi”, which will be open on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays and from 23 December to 8 January from 10.30 to 20. There are also various refreshment points.

Santa’s house in Albiolo

To Albiola municipality in the province of Como, was opened on 3 December Santa’s house. In via Quarto dei Mille, it will be possible to see the snowy mountain, the snowman Olaf and the posts on Santa’s sleigh. The house is lit by 35,000 light bulbs and a generator was used to reduce consumption, given the times.

The Tram Express

Today, Tuesday 6 December 2022, 14 December and from 20 to 22 December 2022 it will be possible to travel on the Tram Express and experience the magic of Christmas aboard a historic tram. Departures are scheduled every hour from 17 to 20 and in the Duomo, Piazza Castello, Brera and Cordusio. There are only 46 seats in total and the journey, which lasts 45 minutes, will allow you to reach Stresa (Piedmont) and Ornavasso (Piedmont).

Santa Claus house in Melegnano

From Saturday 10 December and until 8 January 2023 from 5 pm and until 9 pm it will be possible to admire the house of Santa Claus in Melegnano, municipality in the province of Milan. The house, located in via dei Platani at number 31, is private and there is no ticket to pay. The lights can be viewed from the sidewalk. The lights, as stated on the owner’s website, “want to convey a message of peace, serenity and joie de vivre”.

Gromo’s Santa Claus House

From November 19th to December 26th a Gromo (Bergamo) will be open there Santa’s house. A few steps from the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, there is the friendly village where the Elves will be at the entrance to help the children write a letter which they will deliver directly to Santa Claus.

All the texts will participate in the competition “In the mine and on the farm for free” which will allow you to bring your classmates for free on a visit to the Ariete farm and the mines of the Val del Riso. The house can be visited and there are some spaces where you can make some Christmas crafts. In the garden there will also be farm animals and you can also visit the Nativity Scene Museum. Admission is 10 euros per person, free for children under two years.

City of Toys in Como

The city of toys

There City of Toys of Cernobbio (Como) has reached its 29th edition. The place opens on December 7, 2022 and will close on January 8, 2023. The city can be reached easily by train, bus, car and even by boat. Admission is free and there are tons of Christmas installations and fairy-tale characters. There will also be some talking and singing trees that will come to life and tell many stories.

Santa’s house in Castione della Presolana

From November 19th 2022 to until December 25th to Castione della Presolana, in addition to the Christmas Markets, there will also be Santa’s House. Workshops will be organized every weekend and it will be possible to ride the horse carousel. All over the country, Santa Claus and his Elves have hidden then several Teddy Bears for all the children to look for. Whoever guesses the correct number will receive a fantastic prize.

In addition to the teddy bears, the Elves have scattered their favorite places: to discover them all you can take the Presolana train. Once inside the Village, you can go into the enchanted wood where the elves will prepare some gifts and help the children write the letter. In addition to the house, you can visit Santa Claus’s tavern, the Elves’ laboratory and the Giant Marbles track. Together with the Elves, children will also be able to get to know the Mons who are the inhabitants of the woods of the Bergamo mountains.

In Bratto you can visit the room where the Elves sleep and rest and finally in via Fantoni there will be the chairlift of the elves which will take you to the ski slope of the Elf Buddy. In via San Rocco you can enter the kitchen of the bungling elf where the children can prepare sweets while in the old people’s home you can listen to the grandparents of the elves who will tell some Christmas stories and up to the Oratory where a skating rink has been set up .
