In a joint note, Pd, Alleanza Verdi/Sinistra-Brindisi Bene Comune, Impegno per Brindisi, Attiva Brindisi, Movimento 5 Stelle, Movimento Regione Salento, Uguaglianza Cittadina and Gruppo misto blame the irremediable crisis of Brindisi Multiservizi on the serious political-administrative crisis of the majority.
The financial situation
The municipal company is in the red, with a deficit of about three million euros. “The mayor in the City Council on the budget in December had immediately guaranteed a new industrial plan. 7 months and 4 industrial plan proposals have passed without seeing a solution.”
The accusations
The opposition speaks of administrative “recklessness and amateurism”, with which a particularly thorny dossier such as the rescue of the municipal subsidiary was dealt with. The time factor is decisive. «There is no news of all the measures envisaged in the draft industrial plan: from the car parks in the center, to the public-private partnership and the new car park near the airport, presented with great fanfare as a solution, risks turning into a burden as it is not yet usable and lacks the necessary expropriation procedures as well as definitive arrangement with asphalt”.
