They continue, Wednesday 3 July at 9.15pmappointments with Fairytales at the Borghesi Arena in Faenza scheduled for the 2024 edition of Teatro Masini Estate. The La Baracca – Testoni Ragazzi company will present Bruno Cappagli’s show L’Elefantino, freely based on a story by JR Kipling and performed by Margherita Molinazzi. Imagination, surprise, curiosity and music are the elements that animate this story.
Mom and Dad gave Biba the job of washing all the family’s socks. It’s a boring job and Biba, while she washes, talks about herself and tells us a story. As if by magic the socks come to life and transform into jungle animals that will tell us how the little elephant with the small nose, endowed with an insatiable curiosity, was the first of all elephants to have a trunk and how he discovered how much was useful.

The little elephant will meet animals of all colors and sizes, but above all he will meet songs, because each sock has a sound that makes him sing. They are sounds that remind us of Africa, voices that let us imagine the earth, the trees or the green and muddy water of the river.
The Little Elephant around the world
Thanks to the Ambasciatore project, which aims to bring the theatrical experience free of charge to those children who find themselves in economic and social difficulty, L’Elefantino has toured and continues to tour the world, entering the Indian communities in Guatemala and in the Mexican Chiapas, the refugee camps of the former Yugoslavia, the Brazilian favelas, the Romanian orphanages, the reception centers in Mozambique and Zambia, the schools of Nicaragua, and in Argentina.
