She didn’t answer the phone to her mother who on Sunday morning had tried to contact her several times so the woman went home and, not even receiving an answer to the doorbell, alerted the neighbors who broke down the door.
The woman, a 42-year-old, Sara Altomeni, was found dead in the house. She was lying on the ground in a curled up position and wearing home clothes. The tragedy in via Ambrosini in the San Lazzaro district.
The 118 health workers also arrived on site, but were unable to do anything, the woman was already dead.
Sara Altomeni lived alone in the apartment in via Ambrosini together with her pitbull dog.
The Carabinieri of the Scientific Police and the coroner were also on site. It was ruled out that it was a homicide: no signs of violence were found on the woman’s body and the door of the house was found locked from the inside. The autopsy will be able to shed light on what happened.
