A week of events including festivals, music and books: here are the events from Monday 1st July in Caserta.
Cinema
With the vision of “Armageddon time” by James Gray the exhibition kicks off on Tuesday “Cinema in the making” at Villa Giaquinto, in via Daniele in Caserta. The screening of the film will be preceded by the presentation of the book “Caracas” by Marco Ghidelli.
Books
At the La Feltrinelli bookshop in Caserta on Tuesday “Leave me a memory”, the new novel by Sante Roperto published by Solferino. Marilena Lucente and Piero Rossano will be in conversation with the author.
Musica
On Thursday the PFM – Premiata Forneria Marconi stops at the Belvedere of San Leucio with “PFM sings De André Anniversary”, a tour that celebrates the successful partnership with the Genoese singer-songwriter. The event is part of the “Un’Estate da BelvedeRE” program.
Wednesday Naomi is in concert at Alife for the first edition of “Alife Summer Festival”. The live performance of the singer, who returned to the music scene with “I do not need you”, will be held in the Arena Mura Romane.
The fifth edition of “ kicks off with Alex BrittiCarditello Festival”, in San Tammaro in the Royal Site of Carditello. The concert by the Roman singer-songwriter and guitarist, thanks to the success of his latest single “Uomini”, is scheduled for Friday.
Festivals
A Pignataro Maggiore the Festival of Ancient Flavors returns. From Thursday five days dedicated to food and local dishes, from pettole with beans to gloves. Entertainment in the square with games and square dances, concerts and popular music.
After the preview on June 30th, the “Casavecchia & Pallagrello Wine Festival” a Pontelatone. Lots of good wine for three days of tastings and good food. There will also be other local excellences such as the Buffalo Mozzarella Spinning Laboratory.
