Parma Calcio announces that Valentin Mihaila has renewed his contract until June 30, 2027 with an option for the 2027/2028 season. Mihaila has been at Parma since October 2020, when he was purchased from Clubul Sportiv Universitatea Craiova. In three and a half seasons with Parma he has collected 84 appearances (between Serie A, Serie B and Coppa Italia). In the last three Serie B championships only three forwards (born after January 1, 2000) have been able to score at least 10 goals and provide at least 5 assists. Valentin is one of these three forwards (10 goals and 6 assists), together with Sebastiano Esposito (10 goals + 6 assists) and the Crociati Adrian Benedyczak (24 goals + 5 assists). His last season with Parma was his best in terms of performance and efficiency: Valentin scored 8 goals (6 goals and 2 assists), reaching the same result he had achieved by adding together his two previous seasons. “When I returned to Parma, after my experience in Serie A with Atalanta, I told myself that my biggest goal was to return to Serie A with this shirt, with these colors, with these people. – Mihaila commented -.
