MARTINSICURO. The last municipal council adopted the variations to the municipal state property plan approved in 2021 and which will come into force in the 2025 bathing season. Two concessions for the construction of bathing establishments have been eliminated, which have been converted into shade and services, of which a dog beach vocation. An absolute novelty for the Truentino coast, where dogs and their owners will find umbrellas with fences, a play area and specially created showers and other interventions designed for four-legged friends. There are currently two dog beaches in Martinsicuro and Villa Rosa, it is not yet known whether they will be confirmed next year. «We have decided», adds the councilor delegated to state property and tourism Umberto Barcaroli, «the conversion of the former newsstand concession in Villa Rosa south, in front of the Galf hotel, to create a refreshment kiosk, in order to provide a service in the southern area of Villa Rosa, and the confirmation of the construction of ten scales to be installed on the cliff of the pier at the mouth of the Tronto river”. It seems that the process for authorizing and granting the scales is very complex also because the opinions of various bodies need to be gathered and the time required cannot be predicted, but the municipality wants to point out that they will do everything they can to make them return as a symbol of truentine navy.
Barcaroli, finally, expresses regret for the opposition’s negative vote (present in the chamber Simona Lattanzi e Marta Violacon Joseph Capriotti absent) «which», he says, «in recent years in the two variants on the beach level has always been listened to carefully, and the facts demonstrate this, with all requests accepted.
