On Thursday 4 July, at 6.30 pm in the Municipal Gallery of the Aragonese Castle of Taranto, the collective visual arts exhibition “Towards the East: Contemporary Orizzonti” will be inaugurated. The event is organized by PostPastGallery in collaboration with the Dhoma e Biznesit te Diaspores Shqiptare of Tirana and with the patronage of the Municipality of Taranto.

For the first time, Taranto will host this artistic twinning in the evocative setting of the Aragonese Castle, with the participation of artists from Albania and Kosovo: Elda Katiaj Dano, Refki Gollopeni, Fehmi Hoxha, Aferdita Murtaj and Albulen Neziri.

The exhibition will be open to the public on July 4 and 5, offering a visual journey through works of painting and sculpture. The aim is to promote art in all its forms and highlight the vitality of Eastern artists, each of whom offers a personal and unique reflection on the contemporary horizon, expressing different cultural interpretations.

This event represents an extraordinary opportunity to discover the artistic world of Eastern Europe and reflect on the power of art to subvert clichés, habits and conventions, transforming those who observe it.
