UPDATE 02-07 AT 00:31 – Reached by the lawyer Giuseppe Marra on behalf of the administrator pro tempore of the company Hotel Aurora srls, we publish what we have received: “With regard to the published article, it should be noted that this is a misunderstanding that has been widely clarified. Hotel Aurora srls has been operating for several years at the hotel facility located in Auronzo di Cadore via Unione 15 under a business unit rental agreement. Hotel Aurora srls was founded long before the judicial liquidation procedure and has been operating at the aforementioned hotel facility for several years and has nothing to do with the aforementioned judicial liquidation, also having a different VAT number”.
The withdrawal of the Lazio ad Auronzo of Cadore is approaching. This bond that has been going on since the summer of 2008 and that has made the Cadore town a white and blue fiefdom will be renewed. Every summer there are many Lazio fans who fill the accommodation facilities and other commercial activities in Auronzo for the entire duration of the retreat. This year the white and blue supporters who had already booked at theHotel Aurora have received a nasty surprise: in recent days, in fact, some fans who have already paid the deposit have been contacted by the property and informed that the hotel will not be open in July due to an unforeseen event. However, the property has no intention of returning the deposits already paid. Unfortunately, the reality is different from what was feared: with the ruling of 19 February 2024 the Court of Belluno admitted the hotel’s ownership to the judicial liquidation procedure, that is, a particular form of bankruptcy. The reason for the closure goes beyond a simple temporary mix-up. The papers are in the hands of the bankruptcy trustee appointed by the Court of Belluno, who will decide the fate of the hotel.
