COSTA DI ROVIGO – An exciting evening full of cultural content was held in Costa di Rovigo, in honor of the historical figure of Giacomo Matteotti. The event saw a large participation from the local community, eager to pay homage to the Polesine politician and martyr.
The meeting was introduced by Marco Peresani, director of the L’Alboron Museum, who welcomed the public with a heartfelt speech on the historical relevance of Matteotti. Peresani then introduced the teacher Giorgia Bisiowho illustrated how the students of her institute contributed to the creation of a video dedicated to Matteotti. This project, curated by the filmmaker Marco Samiolooffered a touching visual and narrative tribute to Matteotti’s memory, highlighting the commitment and creativity of the young people involved.
Subsequently, the Professor Mutterle captured the attention of those present with an in-depth analysis of Matteotti’s political and academic career, focusing in particular on his connection with Polesine. His speech provided a detailed overview of Matteotti’s life and work, highlighting his commitment to social justice and civil rights.
To conclude the evening was the Professor Bellettato, accompanied on guitar by Dr. Crepaldi. Their speech offered a fascinating journey into musical historical research, concluding the event with an artistic and cultural touch that left the audience deeply moved and enriched.
This evening in Costa di Rovigo has once again demonstrated the importance of remembering and celebrating historical figures such as Giacomo Matteotti, whose courage and dedication continue to inspire new generations.
