Unfortunately, this road is often crossed by motorcycles and cars that travel at high speed, regardless of the risk posed to pedestrians who have to cross it.
Residents of the area have reported the danger of the situation, requesting specific and targeted intervention in order to avoid serious and irreparable consequences.
“In the past few months we have already installed some deterrents which, however, have not prevented the dangers caused by those who use the road as a racetrack; for this reason, in particular after consulting with residents, we have decided to install a speed bump, the most effective tool.“, declared theCouncilor for Security Teresa Cicolellawho immediately took the residents’ request into consideration, underlining that she cares very much about the safety of families and children who cross this road to enjoy a bit of relaxation in Municipal Villa.
“In the next few days we will install a further 12 speed dissuaders, responding to the increasingly frequent requests of residents who are seriously concerned about their safety. We’ll see if anyone doesn’t respect the 30 km/h limit imposed in the urban centre, because “Cerignola città 30” is already a reality: you just need to know how to respect the rules!“, concluded Cicolella, hoping that these tools can promote a climate of greater serenity and safety in the city.
