Laigueglia (SV)
An anticyclonic promontory, of sub-tropical origin, determines a Saturday characterized by medium-high clouds, Saharan dust and rising temperatures. Instead, tomorrow the establishment of a humid flow in the lower layers will lead to maritime clouds with associated showers.
This morning the skies of Liguria appear milky, due to suspended Saharan dust, and accompanied by extensive medium-high stratifications, at the moment without associated phenomena.
Minimum temperatures remained stationary in the valley bottoms of the eastern Po Valley slopes, while they increased, even significantly, in the rest of the region. In detail, along the coast we find morning values between +20°C and +25°C, while inland between +11°C and +22°C. Here are the minimum temperatures recorded in the four provincial capitals by our monitoring network:
- Genoa Castelletto:+24.7°C
- Savona: +22.2°C
- Imperia: +22.3°C
- La Spezia: +22.6°C
During the next few hours and in the afternoon, medium-high stratifications will pass, always with high concentrations of Saharan dust, drizzle or showers are not excluded in correspondence with the most consistent accumulations, especially in the area of the Ligurian Alps. Towards the evening, the medium-high cloudiness will decrease, but the maccaja will tend to arrive along the coast. Maximum temperatures are expected to increase, peaks above +30°C are expected. Weak or at most moderate ventilation of variable direction, sea from almost calm or slightly rough to locally rough.
