Brindisi signs two important coups in view of the next A2 championship, in fact Todor Radonjic (seen last season in Forlì) and Giovanni Vildera (fresh from promotion to the LBA with Trieste) arrive in Puglia, a symptom of a team that wants to return to the top flight, after the incredible relegation last season. “Valtur Brindisi announces that it has signed the athlete Todor Radonjic, a 197cm Italian-trained Montenegrin winger born in Podgorica on 04/01/1997.

Trained in the youth sector of Stella Azzurra Roma, acquiring the Italian team, he debuted in a senior championship with the Lazio club in 2016/17 at 11.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 35% from three points. In the same year, as team captain, he reached the national Under20 final which ended with his inclusion in the best quintet of the event.

His path in A2 took the streets of Roseto, Tortona and Siena when in 2019 he decided to move to Fabriano to win promotion to A2 with 12.6 points and 7.2 rebounds on average. The following year in Latina he averaged 10.1 points plus 4.3 rebounds per game, with 43% from long range. The last two sporting seasons he wore the jersey of Forlì, a team that concluded the two-year A2 regular season always in first place with 46 victories out of 56 total matches played, spent an average of 18 minutes per game with shooting percentages over 40% from the field.

“Valtur Brindisi announces that it has signed the athlete Giovanni Vildera, an Italian center of 205 cm born in Montebelluna on 04/03/1995.

The player joins the white and blue club with an agreement valid until 30 June 2026.

Vildera is fresh from winning the A2 playoffs and consequent promotion to Serie A with Pallacanestro Trieste, a goal achieved as an absolute protagonist and top scorer in the decisive game 4 with 20 points and 4 rebounds on the scoresheet. Over thirty minutes on the pitch per game in the final series against Cantù, at an average of 10.7 points and 5.5 rebounds in the four final matches that were decisive for decreeing the return of the Trieste club to the top flight.

Raised in the youth teams of Petrarca Basket and Reyer Venezia, two Under19 championship finals in orogranata, he has gained great experience in Serie A2 over the years wearing the jerseys of Omegna, Siena, Biella Rieti, where he holds the rank of captain with 11.3 points and 6.7 average rebounds, Ferrara and Trieste.
