LIVORNO – Mattia Donati voice and guitar, Claudio Laucci piano, Giulio Boschi double bass are the protagonists of the jazz concert which will be held this evening, June 29th, at 9pm al Natural History Museum of the Mediterranean (via Roma, 234).

After the Peace Flowers concert by the Rasenna Jazz Messegers duo last April (Unesco Jazz Month), the “Jazzing for Peace – Festival 2024” continues, a musical journey through the integration of peoples organized by the Rasenna Music Art association.

Tonight’s concert entitled “What a wonderful world” by Triple sec includes songs from the origins of jazz and milestones by musicians such as Armstrong, Hines and Elligton. The trio, very close, has been together for over ten years and has carried out an original research on the music of the jazz age, which goes from the 20s to the 40s.

“Jazzin for peace” is a journey through the integration of peoples, designed by the artistic director Giulio Boschi. Through a program of concerts that will take place during 2024, young musicians from our area will be valorised. The intent is to promote reflection onunion of peoples through the universal language of music, which expresses the beauty, sometimes iconic or evocative, belonging to the culture of peoples, in the belief that this knowledge, entering into everyone’s experience, becomes an element of shared brotherhood. In this sense, jazz is the most radical genre, a symbol of sharing and mixing styles.
