With the signature of Mattia Mastroianni the Knights close the starting lineup.
Neapolitan by birth, he took his first steps in the world of basketball in his hometown, moving to Chieti to join DNA in 2012-13; he subsequently moves to Castelfiorentino, then to Martina Franca, and finally to Falconara. In 2016-2017 he returned to Naples again in Serie B where he did not miss his contribution in the winning run, which led to promotion to A2, as well as the victory of the Italian Cup.
The following year he was confirmed by the Neapolitan team. In the summer of 2018 he moved to Viola Reggio Calabria where he remained until December and then in January 2019 he moved to Orzinuovi, which led the Lombard team to promotion to Serie A2 that year. In the 2019/20 season he plays in Serie B in Palestrina, closing the season, which was interrupted due to the health emergency, then he is at Virtus Kleb Ragusa, and continues his career in Serie B with Ruvo di Puglia, Roseto, Salerno and Piacenza in the last season.

Having already won trophies and achieved promotions, gives us security of experience for the team, while his numbers from last season place him among the best for his role. Now we are at 80% of the roster; there are still a couple of players missing to complete the 2024-2025 team“.
Mastroianni will play with the number 35 jersey for the Knights.
