CARRARA. Marco Bleve (1995) could be the first shot for Carrarese 2024-2025. There is nothing official yet, but the Azzurri’s summer transfer market, which will begin on July 1st, should give coach Antonio Calabro the return of his starting goalkeeper, protagonist of the historic ride towards promotion to Serie B in the season just gone on file. Bleve arrived in Carrara last summer on loan from Lecce. A real gamble from the goalkeeper, a native of San Cesario di Lecce, who had made the courageous choice to join the Lega Pro, to find space and launch his career away from the Giallorossi parent company.
In the shadow of the Apuan Alps, Bleve spent an entire year as first goalkeeper, with 47 appearances and 23 clean sheet (clean sheets) between championship, playoff and cup. After the trial period, Bleve returned to Puglia, but Carrarese is trying to break the deadlock and bring the strong goalkeeper back to Carrara on a permanent basis. In case of white smoke, the operation should be made public next Monday.
On the revenue front, the names of defender Filippo Oliana, born in ’99 from Sestri Levante, and striker Cosimo Patierno (’91) from Avellino continue to be hot. In Serie C Patierno is the outgoing top scorer in Group C with 20 goals in the championship. Carrarese can currently count on 13 “over” players with a contract for next season: the defenders Matteo Di Gennaro (’94), Mauro Coppolaro (’97), Julian Illanes (’97), Marco Imperiale (’99), Davide Grassini (2000), the midfielders Simone Della Latta (’93), Niccolò Belloni (’94), Nicolas Schiavi (’95), Manuel Cicconi (’97), Leonardo Capezzi (’95) and the forwards Mattia Finotto (‘ 92), Alessandro Capello (’95) and Giuseppe Panico (’97). In List B, unlimited and dedicated to the “under”, born from 1 January 2001 onwards, at the moment only the right back Simone Zanon (2001) can be included. The players expiring are: Stefano Mazzini (’98), Gianluigi Pinto (’98), Riccardo Palmieri (’95), Niccolò Giannetti (’91), Leonardo Morosini (’95), Tomas Tampucci (2005) and Jordan Boli ( 2002). Among the loans, in addition to Bleve, there are Francesco Cerretelli from Cremonese (2000), Emanuele Zuelli from Pisa (2001) and Elia Maccherini from Brescia (2003).
