Today, Saturday 29 June, and tomorrow, Sunday 30 June, the last days of the “Grande Festa del Beach Soccer Village” will be held in Capo Peloro, which will culminate with the grand finale of the Coppa Italia Serie A di Beach Soccer. This high-profile tourist and sporting event combines the exciting challenges of the Coppa Italia di Beach Soccer with the enhancement of the territory, in particular the Lagoon of Capo Peloro, the promotion of the typical products of Messina and the support of various social realities of the city of Messina.
Today, at the Domus Bet.tv Arena Beach Stadium, the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia Puntocuore di Beach Soccer are taking place, while the finals will be held tomorrow starting at 11:00 at Capo Peloro – Torre Faro.
The event, with free entry, is organized by the National Amateur League Beach Soccer Department and co-organised and sponsored by the Municipality of Messina, with the support of the Tourism Department of the Sicilian Region and the ARS.
Today’s and tomorrow’s matches will be broadcast live on the official YouTube channel of the National Amateur League. DAZN will follow the Coppa Italia Puntocuore with a section dedicated to Beach Soccer, where it will be possible to review the summaries of the days, the best plays, the highlights, the best goals and much more. The Italian Cup final will be broadcast live.
The award ceremony for the winning team will take place tomorrow, June 30, after the last match scheduled for 18:30. The first and second place teams will be awarded.
Meanwhile, the activities of the Beach Soccer Village continue, an area of over 3000 square meters that hosts entertainment initiatives and has welcomed numerous visitors and tourists since June 20.
In the foreground, the Capo Peloro Lagoon oriented nature reserve, a protected natural area of the Sicilian Region established in 2001 and managed by the Metropolitan City of Messina. The images of this enchanting place published by the national media have contributed to the promotion of the Messina area.
Among the initiatives, Pescaturismo I Mancuso organized an excursion on the Strait of Messina aboard a typical felucca, with tasting of local wines and swordfish organized by Slow Food, which illustrated the peculiarities of the products offered.
Numerous activities at the Beach Soccer Village this last weekend. Today and tomorrow, from 11:30 to 15:00 and from 18:00 to 01:00, the street food & beverage area promoted by Etnazar di Daniele De Vincenzo is open, with a selection of 30 typical products of the “street food” tradition.
The Beach Soccer LAB area, a project by Sabrina Assenzio with the LEM Group, is the “network” space of the village which will host various entities from the city of Messina until tomorrow. From June 20, the topics addressed include the protection of ecosystems, communication and healthy lifestyles. In the cooking shows, chefs and pastry chefs shared their commitment to health and the territory, together with researchers from the University of Messina who presented new technologies to protect the environment and health.
A sports workshop for children coordinated by Tricenter professionals will be held on Sunday 30 June at 7pm; from 8.00pm to 9.00pm, the show cooking space will host the masters of the white art Francesco Arena and Enzo Piedimonte. A meeting will follow on the theme “Food, communication and the world of social media”.
Today, Saturday 29 June at 6.00 pm, the Switzerland-Italy match of the European football championships will be projected on the big screen; from 9.00pm to 12.00am, the entertainment area coordinated by Teresa Impollonia will propose the “Singing Festival of the Stretto”, with nineteen singers from Messina. The winner will win a production curated by producer Joelix. The “Night of Fashion” fashion show will also be held tonight, while tomorrow the Radio Zenith Party will conclude the shows section.
