This is what a citizen of Benevento writes in an open letter sent to the President of the Region Vincenzo De Luca, to the Mayor of Benevento Clemente Mastella, to the Superior of the Fatebenefratelli of Benevento Fra Lorenzo Antonio Gamos and to the health management of the FBF.
“I feel the duty to make public opinion aware that there is also a healthcare system characterized by great humanity thanks to excellent professionalism. Personally, I was able to observe all this in the Cardiology department of the Fatebenefratelli in Benevento where I was hospitalized on several occasions to undergo tests, and following the outcome of the same, a small albeit delicate operation. It is a reality to be very proud of and for this I would like to first of all thank the head of the department, Prof. Bruno Villari, endowed with undisputed professional skills and at the same time with great availability, qualities that make him an excellent “Doctor”; not least the other members of the cardiology team such as Dr. Quirino Ciampi, good at understanding my problem and tracing the path to resolution. I owe him a deep gratitude and even today he continues to follow me with scruple and professionalism. I address a particular thought – the citizen writes in his letter – to doctors Bruno Petruzziello and Mario De Franco, who with their wisdom and empathy helped me overcome moments characterized by fear and uncertainty, including the post-secondary phase. operation”.
