The Rovigo company committed to Regional Championships for the Emilia Romagna region on the distance of 200mt which took place at the Vigarano oasis in the province of Ferrara returned home with another respectable haul with 21 medals of which 11 ori, 6 silvers and 4 bronzes. Proceeding in order of category, among the female A students we find the very talented Adele Mancini who wins hers first gold medal. In the same race, teammate Giulia Pellizzari is fourth. In the men’s singles, Luka Di Trento also did very well, demonstrating continuous improvements, closing his effort in third position in a very popular race. In the K2 specialty, the team’s new signings also performed well with Lorenzo Tumiati and Giovanni Baldo winning theirs gold medal. For the Allievi B category, great satisfaction for the young Anna Lucchin and Silvia Zambon respectively oro and bronze in the individual competition and again oro in the K2 520 race. Among the men, the pair of Francesco Zanirato and Tommaso Gazzieri won theoro in the Canadian double specialty and the bronze in K2. In the individual races they both crossed the finish line in fifth position in their respective series. In the female Cadet A category Glenda Simonetta and Irene Bedon are respectively oro and silver in the individual competition e oro in the pair race. Glenda also competed in the Canadian where she won her third gold of the day. Among the males, Leonardo Salvà won a silver in the individual race and a oro paired with Francesco Lucchin. The teammate, for this time, has to settle for sixth place in the individual race. For the female Cadet B category Dharma Valente crosses the finish line in second position just a few hundredths of a second behind the first place. Among the males, Samuele Zennaro did very well argentoPhilip Baracco bronze, and Matteo Teodori sixth in the individual race. The couple of Samuele and Filippo wins another amazing victory oro in the K2 race. In the boys and girls category Petra Biasioli and Anna Munerato compete in K2 where they win theargento which Anna manages to repeat in the individual test while Petra closes her effort in fifth position. Among the men, Nicola Mancini qualifies for the final where he crosses the finish line in sixth position. Teammates Diego Trambaiolo and Jacopo Gazzieri as a couple crossed the finish line in fifth position in the K2 race while in the individual race they narrowly missed out on the final. Finally, among the masters we find the very talented Alfonso Ditrento who gives the association another gold medal in the K1 Master B. Having just returned from the race in Ferrara, the people of Polesine are ready to leave for the wonderful Lake Ledro in Trentino where the regional and national races will be held from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th July for all categories. Around twenty athletes will then remain to train at Lake Ledro until Thursday and then leave for San Giorgio di Nogaro where the national competitions will be held on the occasion of the second seasonal event reserved for youth canoeing.
