At the Episcopal Curia of Latina, Bishop Mariano Crociata presided over the end-of-year pastoral assembly of the clergy working in the Diocese. The meeting served to reflect on the path to take next year and what challenges lie ahead.
A topic addressed by the Bishop and then discussed in the individual study groups was that of the collaboration units between parishes, which the clergy has already begun analyzing at the forania level, just as it has already been discussed in the diocesan Pastoral Council .
This means starting a new relationship between parishes in the same district on certain specific areas.
The appointments of parish priests
At the end of the assembly, Bishop Crociata announced some appointments of parish priests and diocesan services:
Parish of S. Maria Assunta in Cielo (Maenza): Don Francesco Gazzelloni is appointed parish priest jointly with Don Alessandro Trani, as well as remaining parish priest of Roccagorga;
Parish of S. Michele Arcangelo (Sonnino): Don Alberto Celani, cpps, becomes Parish Priest in place of Don Oliviero Magnone, cpps;
Parish of S. Maria (Sezze): Father Marcelo Brandan, ive, Parish Priest in place of Father Alfredo Quintanilla, ive;
Stella Maris Parish (Latina): Father Desiré, priest Parish Priest in place of Father Norbert Sebutitira Nsengiyumva, priest (Pallottines);
Parishes of Our Lady of Loreto and Jesus the Divine Worker (Latina): Br. Stefano Marsili, ofm, becomes Parish Administrator of the two parishes, he will be able to count on the collaboration of two Mexican priests here in Italy to complete his theological studies;
Parish of SS.ma Annunziata (Borgo Montello, Latina): the new Parish Priest is Don Alessandro Aloè, who also remains Parish Priest of San Francesco d’Assisi in Borgo Bainsizza, Latina, and thus a new community of parishes is formed.
Diocesan Services: Don Paolo Spaviero is appointed Episcopal Delegate for the Permanent Diaconate, and remains confirmed in the roles and offices already held.
