Dumas’ classic comes to life in a new show in which music, prose and dance intertwine in an exciting and engaging story. “All for one, one for all!”. The most famous motto of Dumas’ novel, symbol of an incorruptible friendship, takes on new life in this new Italian musical version of “The Three Musketeers – Opera Pop” produced by Stefano Francioni Produzioni and the Teatro Stabile d’Abruzzo, of which it is artistic director Giorgio Pasotti, who will arrive in the most important Italian theatres. A show in which music, prose and dance intertwine in an engaging and emotional story with Gio’ Di Tonno, Vittorio Matteucci, Graziano Galatone in the roles of Athos, Porthos and Aramis and the innovative and elegant touch of Giuliano Peparini who is entrusted with the artistic direction and direction; the choreographies are curated by Veronica Peparini and Andreas Muller, the lyrics written by Alessandro Di Zio and the music composed by Gio’ Di Tonno.
The show will arrive in Sicily on 30 and 31 January at the Golden theater in Palermo, on 1 and 2 February at the Metropolitan theater in Catania, the dates are organized by Live Spettacoli and Show Biz by Mario and Giampaolo Grotta (ticket advance sales have already started ). The triumph of friendship therefore, but also the triumph of power and ambition in this timeless story where “good” and “bad” fight an almost archetypal struggle, putting at the center values such as honor, loyalty and honesty that are too often put into crisis from the myth of contemporary man and which the three musketeers proudly carry on the tips of their swords which they naturally do not disdain to use because one can and must fight for honesty and friendship. And for love, the driving force of every action which here is sublimated in the meeting between D’Artagnan and Costanza: a love that will be broken by the thirst for revenge of the other female protagonist, the wicked Milady. The ending, like all endings, will restore balance and Milady will be executed.
