TERAMO – Following his inauguration, the first meeting of the coordination cabin for monitoring and supporting the implementation of PNRR interventions in the province took place this morning at the Government Palace.
The Round Table, chaired by Prefect Fabrizio Stelo, was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Teramo Territorial School Office and the Municipalities of the province.
During the meeting, the data from the latest monitoring by the Ministry of Economy and Finance were analyzed, according to which the province of Teramo has benefited significantly from the PNRR funds with a significant impact on the economic and social fabric of the territory. The number of active projects is high (1763 projects) and the overall amount of resources invested is significant (about €700 million).
The response of the province’s territory is significant and it is working hard to implement the financed projects and the progress of the same is good, as confirmed by the MEF.
The meeting highlighted the usefulness of periodic reports by the implementing bodies on the progress of the projects under their jurisdiction, from which any deviation from the pre-established timetable can emerge as promptly as possible, and the importance of the periodic inter-institutional comparison offered by the cabin, necessary to facilitate coordination/dialogue between the administrations in charge of the interventions and the implementing bodies in order to overcome the critical issues raised.
Finally, the Municipalities, acknowledging the support offered by the Prefecture through the monitoring of the REGIS platform, illustrated the progress of various projects, confirming their desire to complete them within the expected timeframes and to fully utilize the allocated resources.
The Prefect starin thanking all those who attended, reiterated the full support offered by the Prefecture which “will have the role of link between local authorities (implementing bodies) and administrations in charge of the interventions. The aim is to guarantee the full implementation of the projects, which embrace various areas such as ecological transition, school, social inclusion, health, business and work, infrastructure, digitalisation, culture, tourism and the overcoming of the critical issues submitted to the coordination cabin”.
