The man, defended by lawyers Dario Iaia and Francesco Fischetti, he ended up in the dock in 2021, with all the consequences that can arise from a personal and social point of view in a country where everyone knows each other. In fact, during the separation, the woman had filed a complaint against the man who thus underwent a long and tiring process from which, fortunately, the truth emerged. The 50-year-old had been accused by his ex-wife of having committed physical and moral violence since after the marriage, consisting of throwing things in the air, punching doors, slamming chairs, throwing away household furnishings every time he was contradicted.

Of particular relevance was the accusation of physical violence against her, in addition to that of insults and alleged stalking via GPS device. Following the complaint, the precautionary measure of removal from the marital home was applied to the 50-year-old, which they themselves had to comply with for about a year and a half. The prosecutor had requested four years of imprisonment. The man was fully acquitted of the crime of mistreatment because the fact did not exist and of that of illicit interference in the private life of others for not having committed it.
