The activity of the DC municipal councilor of Modica, Giorgio Civello, does not stop.
At the center of the representative’s activity at Palazzo San Domenico, first of all, the methods of participation in the Infiorata of Noto, on which, moreover, the councilor had already used critical tones during his speech in the highest civic assembly (in to whom he had also communicated his resignation as president of the IV Commission), criticizing the organization and methods of a potentially important event but organized, according to the councilor himself, not according to adequate criteria.
The DC exponent turns to the Municipal Administration asking for clarity on the methods of organizing the participation and, if necessary, to take measures given the outcome, in his opinion, is not satisfactory.
In the same vein, the second proposal, presented by Civello himself, is linked to the establishment of a Municipal Council for Tourism.
Since, in response to Civello’s previous criticisms, on the lack of involvement and elephantine waiting for acts, such as the new Council regulation, the Municipal Administration had entrenched itself behind the so-called, “tell us first”, we will see if, now, with the double proposal presented, there will be immediate feedback or, once again, the requests will be accompanied by silence.
