“An anticyclonic promontory, expanding over the Western Mediterranean, favors stable weather conditions and rising temperatures over Lombardy until Saturday afternoon“: these are the forecast for the Lombardy reported in the usual bulletin Arpa regional. “Since the afternoon of Saturday subsidence of the promontory, due to the transit of a disturbance from France, with the possibility of intense rainfall in the evening. From Sunday markedly variable conditions at least until mid-week, with repeated rainfall events, at times intense especially on the reliefs, and temperatures falling below the average for the period“.
As for the weather forecast for the day in detail, Tomorrowthe bulletin of Arpa Lombardy reports clear or partly cloudy skies in the first part of the day, a sharp increase in clouds between the afternoon and evening until cloudy or very cloudy skies.
Precipitation: probable from late afternoon in the form of showers or thunderstorms in the western provinces, especially near the Pre-Alps, moving eastwards in the evening.
Temperatures: minimum and maximum slightly increasing. In the plains minimums between 19-22 °C, maximums between 30-34 °C.
Thermal zero: around 4500 meters, decreasing since the evening.
Winds: weak easterly in the plains; in the mountains from weak to moderate south-western at altitude, breezy in the valleys.
Other phenomena: moderate to strong heat discomfort on the plain. Strong thunderstorms possible in the evening, especially in the west.
