More than 20 days ago, by pure chance, while browsing the Notice Board, I discovered a phantom resolution regarding the municipal youth consultation, which aroused enough skepticism in me for multiple reasons, so much so that I asked for answers from the competent councilors Davide Campese ( current councilor for Youth Policies) and Oronzo Cilli (former councilor for Youth Policies), on my behalf and that of many young people who love politics, the City and public affairs.
After not having received answers for many days, today answers regarding the matter, which were unfortunately unsatisfactory, arrived.
My thanks go to the group “Emiliano Mayor of Puglia”, represented in the City Council by Antonello Damato, who brought up the above-mentioned issue as a current question, which was followed by a response that did not meet my expectations, as no timetable and a real program were highlighted that will lead to the implementation of a measure that has been lying in the drawers of Corso Vittorio Emanuele since 2021, but which will become reality as the “City Council of Girls and Boys” (according to the councilor who spoke) “hopefully starting from the next school year.
I and many other citizens still express our dissatisfaction with the response given, which we hope will also be followed up by the first Citizen, also called into question this time… The centrality of young people and my support is valid at all times !
