Perfumes, colors and a study on longevity, the “Incontri sul Golfo” starts tomorrow. Now in its seventh edition, the event begins with a particular initiative linked to urban greenery, an emotional walk along the paths of the Fausto Noce park.
Tomorrow, starting at 7.30pm (meeting at the entrance in front of the Martini Center), the walk will be a discovery of the biodiversity of animal and plant species, explained and illustrated by the biologist Pina Contis and the veterinarian Salvatore Amadori: “A treasure chest of wonders. Wings and leaves, colors and scents” will accompany the visitor to admire and learn about the numerous floral and faunal beauties hosted in the park with curiosities linked to the typical Mediterranean and exotic species and the migratory passage of different genera.
In July, Saturday 20th, the exhibition returns with an evening dedicated to the theme of longevity, with recent studies that highlight the Gallura case: “Longevity between Ogliastra and Gallura” will be illustrated by Professor Gianni Pes, one of the world’s leading experts, and the nutritionist Alessandra Errigo.
Sunday 28 July “The white gold and the black gold of the Gulf of Olbia”, the penultimate meeting of the event, brings to the stage the well-known local fish specialities, a meeting organized by the biologist Benedetto Cristo and the gourmet Luciano Bisogni.
Closing the event is the three-day “Island of Clouds – Comics, Illustration, Animated Cinema” (13, 14 and 15 September), the first event dedicated to comics in Gallura. The events are sponsored by the Culture Department of the Municipality of Olbia in partnership with the Festival Mediterranea of Alghero.
