An evening of running and night walking for the seventh edition of the Viconovo Run Night. This evening, starting at 9.45pm from the church square of Viconovo in via Bertolda, the competitive and recreational night race will begin. The Viconovo Run Night is organized by the Pro Loco Viconovo Aps with the collaboration of Avis Provinciale e Comunale, Uisp Ferrara, with the patronage and contribution of the Municipality of Ferrara, this year in its seventh edition and which for the first time will also have a competitive event. The initiative was presented yesterday morning in the municipal residence by the new municipal councilor for sport Francesco Carità, by the president of Pro loco Viconovo Aps (organizing body of the event) Marcello Celeghini, by the manager of the sports service of the Municipality of Ferrara Cinzia Graps and by the head of the UO sport Fausto Molinari, by the representative of Avis Comunale Sergio Mazzini and by the vice-president of Uisp Ferrara Andrea De Vivo. The first words of the councilor Francesco Carità: “The organizers of the Pro Loco of Viconovo deserve my applause and thanks and that of the municipal administration for the beautiful and useful sporting event which involves many enthusiasts and also includes four-legged friends. hamlet of Viconovo represents excellence as regards the organization of recreational and sporting events that promote the territory and relations between citizens”. The evening’s program includes registration and bib collection from 8pm, then music with the DJ set by Colla DJ and Giulio Voice, followed by a Body&Soul fitness session with Yoga and Pilates teacher Barbara Lj. At 9.45pm there will be the start along Via Bertolda close to the town church which will see the competitive walk start first and then the recreational walk, 8 and 6.3km respectively immersed in the countryside. Both routes will pass on mixed asphalt roads and ancient dirt roads with their unchanged charm, skirting cultivated fields and ancient farmhouses. Upon arrival, a buffet refreshment. Marcello Celeghini added: “Viconovo Run Night is in fact the desire to be together having fun and practicing healthy physical activity suitable for all ages”. An initiative that received a contribution from the municipal tender: “It was among the over one hundred requests received by the municipal offices – Cinzia Graps specified – all of which were also supported in dealing with the bureaucratic procedures put in place to obtain the expected contribution”.
