GROSSETO. The pre-season friendly between the Grosseto and the Fiorentina this year coached by Raffaele Palladino. It will be played, as in 2023, at the stadium Zecchini, Monday 5th Augustwith kick-off at 8pm. The red and white club will announce how to purchase tickets.
The last time
A gift for the many Viola fans in the city and for those on holiday in Maremma in that period. In 2023 the Viola won 4-0, but the real success was the response of the public who packed the Zecchini stands with the presence of 6,800 paying spectators. All this confirming the good relationship between the Griffon and the Viola, of which the red and white patron, Gianni Lamioni, is not only a fan, but also a sponsor. A partnership that will also bring more than one young player from the Viola Primavera to Maremma for the next championship, to be made available to coach Malotti.
The Red and White Summer
Meanwhile, in the midst of the season ticket campaign, with free sales for all starting Wednesday, July 10, after the pre-emption period reserved for old season ticket holders which will end on July 7th, Grosseto is launching the big party which will take place entirely at the Roselle sports center and which will be called; “Red and White Summer”. In total there are eight evenings, spread over two consecutive weekends. Evenings dedicated to good food, with aperitif and dinner with à la carte menu, entertainment and obviously also football and in particular the teams of the red and white youth sector. The start is next Thursday 4th July, with the presence of director Giovanni Veronesi accompanied by the Musica da Ripostiglio. The next day, just music, again with the Musica da Ripostiglio group. Saturday 6th will be the big night of boxing, with the sports center hosting an important meeting of Rosanna Conti Cavini’s organization. The first week ends on Sunday 7th, dedicated starting from 6pm, to the opening of the 2024 2025 season of the red and white youth sector, with the full presentation of teams and managers and with the subsequent presence of DJ Bard and the comedy duo, directly from Mediaset, of Panpers.
How to book
As regards this first package of events, Us Grosseto would like to inform you that booking for each individual event is preferable (at the number: 376 1889651), as seating for aperitifs and dinners is limited. Those who want to attend after dinner (after 9.30 pm) will not need a reservation to attend the events. The style of the second week is different, with the gastronomic part which includes a typical Maremma festival-style menu, without the need for a reservation. The start is Thursday 11 July with Tv9 Estate Live (a music competition). The day after the Cmm performance (with the presence of local artists). On Saturday 13th the evening will be animated by Conte Max with Francesco di Napoli’s band. Great closing, Sunday 14th, with the awards ceremony for the various ongoing tournaments and the projection of the final of the European Football Championships on the big screen. The red and white evenings will also be animated by the performance of freestyle football shows.
