Gravina: Promotion program for Apulian products

There are 57 projects accepted for funding by the Department of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment of the Puglia Region as part of the “Program for the promotion of quality Apulian products and food education. Three-year period 2024-2025”. The funds, which will finance from 25% up to half of the approved projects, will be used to support fairs, festivals, demonstrations and events to promote agri-food tourism, local products, food education and information and, in general, the Puglia brand. The resources made available amount to 600 thousand euros, with an increase of 250 thousand euros.

“Once again, the Puglia Region is committed to the promotion and valorisation of agri-food products, through contributions that will make products certified with quality marks such as DOC, DOP, IGP and organic increasingly known, in Italy and abroad – declares the president of the IV Economic Development Commission, Francesco Paolicelli (PD) -.

It is a path that began in the Economic Development Commission, where in January we approved the Law for the valorisation of excellent PDO and PGI products. They are projects that encourage producers to adhere to food quality systems, especially the ‘Quality Products – Quality Guaranteed by the Puglia Region’ brand. But they also serve to promote healthy eating and the consumption of zero km products through territorial marketing and information campaigns, collaborating with local stakeholders and using the Educational Farms of Puglia”.
