deed of address for the assignment of the municipal lido

The City Council of Reggio Calabria has approved theaddress document for theassignment of the management of bathing services of the Municipal LidoGenoese Zerbi”.

The decision was taken unanimously by the members present during the meeting on June 21st, the day in which spring gives way to summer. Good news which, perhaps, should have arrived a little earlier, given the bureaucratic times, the risk of arriving at the opening in the month of August is not so unlikely.

Management assignment of the municipal lido for summer 2024

Located in historic Rada of the Rushes, is a symbol of the city that has certainly seen better times. Recent redevelopment works, financed with POC Metro 2014/2020 funds, have led to some improvements, but the current state of the beach is anything but finished and there are still several interventions to be implemented.

Despite this, the Municipal Administration aims to relaunch the structure for bathing season 2024looking for partners”brave” who want to invest in management.

The address arrives at the end of June, leaving very little time to organize and start bathing services. This stringent timescale represents a “significant challenge”, if you want to define it that way, for anyone who decides to take this path.

Temporary custody concerns the management of 92 cabins and includes:

  • cabin assignment;
  • rescue and assistance services;
  • entry control and user assistance;
  • first aid medical services;
  • cleaning, custody and supervision.

The management, as reported in the Council resolution, “will be financed through various revenues, including: daily entrance ticket; management of food and drink kiosks (n.2 to be placed inside the beach); and then again rental of umbrellas, deck chairs, canoes and pedal boats; additional services such as fitness courses and entertainment for children.
