One hundred young people ready to collaborate for “Potenza Italian Youth City 2024”. Today in the capital of the Lucanian region, the volunteers who responded to a call promoted by the Technical Committee of Potenza, the Italian city of young people and by the Extra-pupils association of the University of Basilicata will meet in the Civic Gallery to support the committee in the organization of the activities planned during the year in which the city of Potenza boasts the prestigious title won in Naples last March.
The response of young people
The appeal was launched to look for people aged fourteen and over with the desire to actively contribute to the setting up of the projects, making their time available. The response has been extraordinary, numerically speaking. One hundred people responded to the call, but the number of volunteers could grow because the call is still open and has no deadline. The event
The appointment for today is in the afternoon, at 5.30 pm in the Galleria Civica, a place that has become the headquarters of Potenza City of Young People. It will be a first contact, the committee says, with all the volunteers who have joined the call to explain their role in the schedule of the various events based on the pillars of the candidacy dossier. Two hundred young people participated in the dossier, which earned the prestigious title last March.
